Events

School events bring learning to life and help shape our school culture. They help students build confidence, connect with others and celebrate their progress. Events also give families a chance to be involved in school life and share in their child’s achievements.

Gunnedah Eisteddfod

Students from Blackville Public School joined with Premer Public School to perform at the Gunnedah Eisteddfod, showcasing their talents in both the Small Schools Choir and Dance sections. Their performances of Go for Broke and Something Just Like This earned an impressive 3rd place in both events.

Congratulations to all students for representing their schools so proudly.

Musica Viva

Students travelled to Tamworth to attend a fantastic Musica Viva performance at the Conservatorium of Music presented by Rhythm Works. Using percussion instruments and everyday objects, Kevin and Elijah created exciting soundscapes that captivated the audience. Inspired by the performance, students returned to school eager to create their own musical instruments and inventions.

Book Week

Book Week is a special time at our school where we celebrate a love of reading every year in Term 3 Week 5. Students take part in fun activities throughout the week.
